First I thought the trip on the vulcan is just another cosy tour for tourist, in order they can claim beeing on a vulcan and went down by skis....actually is was a big mistake! I was aware the fact i had to carry my skis, ski-shoes, sticks, crampons, ice axe, trousers, jacket, food, etc... with me. All together scaled about 20kg. The other thing was, it took us SEVEN HOURS to get up to the vulcan! So it was a 7 hours hike with 20kg at the back....was quit exhausting - but worth to do it!!!! Skiing down a vulcan in the deep snow, was the most adventuresome thing i've ever done! ....or was it scuba diving? ;o)

These two french guys were crazy enough to haul their snowboards up to the vulcano as well......it took us half an hour to get down by skis or snowboards, but this beer afterwards, was the best one for ages!!!!! ;o))
